Check out this short list of healthy advantages: Pasture-raised beef is significantly lower in total fat, often ¼ the total fat as that found in grain-fed animals. In fact, grass-fed beef can be as low in fat as a skinless chicken breast. Research shows that lean beef actually lowers "bad" cholesterol. Grass-fed beef has fewer calories.
