We traveled extensively when we were purchasing our foundation does. We looked for does that exhibited exceptional length, width, and depth; large hind quarters, heavy muscling, a proper bite, good teat structure, etc. Our program is based on a rotational grazing system. Our mature does are fed a minimal amount of commercial feed, except during late pregnancy and times of lactation. They always have access to clean fresh spring water and high quality hay grown here on our farm. Our goal is a trim, healthy goat.
